treachery and cowardice were a tissue of lies, spread abroad (with
o?cial sanction) for a political purpose.
We associate Armenia with tragedy and misfortune. Inevitably!
Yet let us remember that there is a beauty, a richness, a vitality in
the life of Armenia of which few of us indeed are yet aware.
